Smile for a Mile – Michael Case raises over £600 for Special Kids

Special Kids in the UK member Michael Case has raised an amazing £670 for Special Kids in the UK, and the total hasn’t stopped there!

Michael, aged 16 and a full time wheelchair user, was inspired by the Smile for a Mile campaign and decided to take on the challenge using a treadmill. What made his achievement all the more amazing is that Michael only took his first independent steps aged 13, so to complete a mile unaided is an incredible achievement. Michael completed his Mile in just under 30 minutes, congratulations from everyone at Special Kids in the UK and a big thank you to Rob, Ross and the team at Park Leisure Centre in Barrow in Furness.
